Death Animation for cube, EXTREMLY SIMPLE ONE

I need a animation for this cube when somebody kill it.

It could just be it fast falling into the ground (and i add the burrow's ground storm around), or a very complicated where it is actually blown into pieces.

Making this ensures a position in the cave craft team, beta testing, and credits.

And if you dont want all that, youll get points instead :D

I think I've been posting in like three treads about these cubes of yours, haven't I? :) Anyways, just wanted to say that since you're probably going to have a lot of these cubes on the screen you'd probably want them to be as simple as possible, so complicated animations of the model going to pieces is probably a bad idea, since that would mean more polys. Unless you'd have two models, one to use while the cube is just standing there and another to use when it's actually destroyed, so that you change from on to the other when the first one dies, then play the death animation. Hm, I'm not certain that'd look good but I dunno.

I also think it would look ok if the cube just dissappeared when killed, you could make a trigger to play some crushing sound and play a special effect of a dustcloud or something at the place it was destroyed.

I made one. Texture goes at Textures\MudBrick1.blp . It does that falling into ground bit.

Since I've been posting in all your threads with little more than critisism, I figured I'd slap a few together as well. Turned out I was too tired for it, really, but I C&Ped from a few blizz textures that might look decent. I'm sure it'll terrible tomorrow morning when I see more clearly, but whatever.. :)

RoughBrickWall.tga and StoneGray.tga are nothing but C&P. EQ_Rock2.tga is not even modified, it's available in Textures\EQ_Rock2.tga, I think it'd look decent just the way it is. Just added it to save you the trouble of finding it to see if you like it. Good to use original textures if you want to save space.

2: I need 4 cubes, all with same appearence, size, animations... but different textures. How do i do that, or do i need 3 other cubes with new textures paths? plz do it, you allrdy got a place in credits :D

I'm glad you like it.
Here are three identical MDXs except for the texture paths, which points to Textures\Brick1.blp, Texture\Brick2.blp, and Textures\Brick3.blp . It sounds like you want to make the textures yourself, so I'm not including them. If you want me to use MMad's, then just tell me which you want out of his three and my one and I'll get them ready to go.
