get a warcraft 3 image viewer/converter (WC3 Viwer or Image Extractor 2) Open war3.mpq or war3x.mpq with it, look in the ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\ path of the mpq archives for icons. Choose one and save it as tga. the tga you can edit with any painting tool you like (I recommend photoshop) After having finished it use WC3viewer or IE2 to reconvert your image to blp and use the WE's import manager to import it into the map where you want to use it. |

download Cookie's glow pack, I think you'll find it in the tutorials section. Import Glow.mdx (which you will find in his glow pack) into your map. Then create a custom unit ability based off the shadow orb ability (which is a item ability) and make it use the imported glow.mdx as effect. Also make sure you set the attacks enabled index for your orb ability to 0. Finally give the ability to the unit you want to have glow. |

He meant team color, not Hero glow. I don't know right now how to do that (I am not a skinner). As far as I know, team color requires model editing. Maybe there is a tutorial for this. Look in the tutorials section, or check the artist forums. |

@ph33rb0: The skin needs an area to display it first though. All you have to do is make the appropriate area of the skin transparent, and then shade it. When you load the skin, the transparent area shows as the team color. |

I believe you must use alpha channels to add team color. There is a tutorial on alpha channels in the tutorial section. |
