I've noticed a problem in my mdl modified models that I just can't figure out myself.

Check the picture below. Notice how new face does not connect with the rest of the head (small picture is added to show the size of the gap) even though I modified the points to fit perfectly. I guess it has something to do with marking those points as connected, but I have no idea how to do that.

The second problem I have is reskinning part of the model. Let's say I want to apply Ranger skin on the new face (or priest skin on the old model). How do I do that? I tried importing model in Max and reskinning it, but once I export it again, the geoset points are all messed up and I'd have to manually move them to right positions, wich would be a lot of work. Is there an easy way to this?
