Someone was wanting to know how to save files to MP3. Since it's an important part of keeping file sizes down, and not everyone is a technical egghead, this tutorial can help you: http://savage.samods.org/tut05.htm The best bit is that you don't need any shareware editors like Cool Edit - it's all freeware and easy to use. Hope it helps. -M EDIT: Link fixed. |

First -> That link doesn't work anymore so I'll put something in on this subject: Tools Needed: Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge Open the file in soundforge. Make any necessary cut offs or the like, then save it as .mp3 Easy as that. |

It doesn't work at the *moment*. The SA site shall be back up *soon*. :) It's not always that easy, though can be, as it depends on the version of SF you download. Mine doesn't have it, and I use Cool Edit so I'm happy with that. |

you know, i can make them into mp3 format in 2 steps 1.put all disks in and save it to windows media, musicmatch, or anything else 2.burn to a disk and select mp3 format NOTE:you cannot add more songs after making them into mp3 format on the smae disk(at least i cant), so before you make it into mp3 format, add all your songs, since when in mp3 format, it will take out a file that isnt needed, it will also turn about what is said to be 300% usage will turn to about 50% when converted into mp3 format ^_^ then, you just import them to your map from the sound editor |
