it seems 4 some reason when I try to edit an item I can only add so much ex: I want maul of str to add 90dmg. Well I cant just simply edit maul and put abilitly claws +15 6times. Its like theres a limit to what the item can do, oddly it even seems to change as sometimes I can get like the item to do like 5 different abilitys then other times its like 3abilitys. So I go to triggers thinking this will be easy just make a trigger like hero has maul add 90dmg, saddly no triggers do this (that I found anyway) Im making an rpg and I want some really good items really top of the line and really expensive as im sick of buying packs o 40agility tombs and being set 4 life and no point in buying items that you just hold. Well if no one can solve this problm I hope they can it seems like it be easy I just cant get it to work, then somehow maknig a bigger invtory would be good enogh but that bag idea I keep hearing seems way! to complicated but some1 mentiond putting arrows in slots 5 and 6 that u can switch like go left and right through ur invtry. That 1 seems easy but they didnt expalin how they did it they just said some1 else did it like that. Also do either of these systems work with items that you keep as maul, claws, or cloak of shadows as an example. cuz I thought of an idea of having just a guy follow along and put his size to .1 and make him fast invulibe and no attack so all he can do is carry items but the thing is that sure you can put your aura items on him and maybe potion but you can't add claws or somthing cause it wont do jack for you. 1 last thing I promise :) is there anyway I could do a trigger where I can lvl up past 10 example: I get demon hunter lvl 10 I change into a lvl1 demon hunter (however stats of lvl10demon hunter) so I can know get 10 all over again? That way basicly Im going to lvl 20 anyway to do this? |

come on is it possible? Im near the compleatn of the end of my rpg game. I basd it so that its extreamly hard tho and you will need to buy new items all the time and replace the old ones. As my first rpg, which I did love ended up being get a few good items then nothing more to get so just buy 10000 agility tomes and its cakewalk. It gets borring that way though almost everys map is like this. I jsut wantd super items so that you always got somthin to buy and replace through the entire game. My rpg is 80% compleate I dont wanna scrap it now, or add billions of agility tomes, thats basicly scraping it to please help :) please please |

I think you could do a trigger for your hammer thing. I don't memorize all the triggers and things and I don't have my CD for me to go check if it works but can't you make a trigger that detects when a certain unit attacks or is attacked by something else? If so you may be able to tell it to deal 90 damage to a target when it gets hit and the attacker carries the hammer thing. So he still does his normal hit damage, and then 90 more damage. Only thing is that it will ignore attack type and armor type :/ If you really want to make items better though you could just make normal damage less and make the HP amounts lower, so that 15 extra damage or something is actually a lot relative to enemy HPs :) Of course this also makes spell extremely powerful :/ Hey just a couple thoughts so try them I guess... |

So theres noway to actrually see the extra damage then? I like seeing the +90 or whatever beside my dmg, so I can see what items I wanna keep or leave behind. Well is there any EASY way to add invotory. Also is there a way to bypass the limit of abilitys an item can have? That will easyily fix my problem. Does every1 have this problm and why does it exist |

I think it's just a memory thing, can't have too many properties on one item. If you want to be able to see the damagae change just add it in the items tooltip so people can read it and see. (If you don't have "Advanced Tooltips" turned on in the options, you should turn them on to see tooltips for items.) You may forget about the bonus if you don't look at your items and just look at the displayed damage, but there doesn't seem to be a way around it, you just can't put that many abilities on items. Well not a way that I know of anyway |
