Noob Help please.

i've been lookin for how to do this for a while and i never can find a good explanation

how do i extract a model from wc3 to be edited in 3dmax or milkshape?

If you use 3ds max, this tutorial gives you a bit basic info on model editing.

i just want to be able to edit models that come with warcraft 3 to change just tiny things about them

oooh, 6 is not very good for editing. If you could get your hands on 5 then you would have access to all the tools. I havent heard of anyone getting a model in with 6

that's because art tools doesn't support it, and neither does any Dex. Get max 5 and then try my tutorial. It should help.
