The WW2 Map Making Team is in desperate need of modelers! You might have read the post with all of the info, because it is usually at the top of this forum with like 120 posts now :D You dont need to be able to put a skin on your model or animate your model, because we got people for that. We are looking mostly for infantry models. But there is Tanks and Artillery too. Also an Machine Gun Nest. Plenty of others also |

Presently we don't care what type of models you do!! I think we'd prefer lower-poly and specificaly if you are any good at modeling realistic infantry that would be appreciated. But we still need alot of simpler tanks and buildings, both of which aren't very hard. I'd also like some modeler critique of my stuff, without putting it in the model forums. (when i get some pictures of them i'll go post them in there, but after awhile we want to keep some stuff secret!) Generaly this is a pretty large project, and we'd appreciate any help that we could get! |

Well I am not fairly good with low poly but I can try if you want to see some of my work just look at my avatar I was going to help on the starcraft map for bnet but the guy never got back to me so I guess he doesnt need help. |

if you guys are serius and i mean serius on making these and other maps of this type, then i think i might want in. n e ways, i can model, animate, skin, unwrap, make missles, work well with particles, just about everything from scratch all whille keeping things down in size best they can. if you interested, u'll have to give me a bit as i am currently working on a few projects which should be done withing a few days 1) new samus model requireing animating 2) death *want to redo the animations for it wasnt satisfied 3) thing related to tank survival but these come and go quit quickly and never require n e thing 2 2 major. but, yah, pm me, username on wc3 is neverlotus, on the azeroth server. |

We are very serious about making these maps. Not only do i have alot of people online counting on me to make it, but i got family members that are dying to play it :D You say you can make missles.. can you make a good missle for a Machine Gun? I was wondering if it was possible to get it to fire in what looked like bursts. I want the long yellowish tracer to be the missle. And if you get done with that, you could make a tank shell. Just a grey shell with a smoke trial. |

Yeah we're going to need alot of animation help (i can't figure out how to animate, but yet all my stuff has something that i'd like animated.) I've also got a number of ideas for particle uses, most of which don't even depend on the unit. Examples: Dirt flying behind the tanks Smoke coming from hurt tanks Smoke from factory, Shipyard when it's building a unit I also think we need some different muzzle flashes, at least to differenciate the differnet types of tanks There's alot of other stuff that i've thought about but i haven't run them by vongimli, and i don't know how doable they are so i'll leave it at that. |
