If it's named the same, but with "_portrait.mdx" after it (or .mdl), then it should work simply by selecting the original model; both models are automatically skinned. (For example, TFT World Editor's Import Manager -> Import Files -> Imports\Nightmare -> use custom paths -> "Units\Other\Nightmare\Nightmare.blp", "Units\Other\Nightmare\Nightmare.mdx", and "Units\Other\Nightmare_portrait.mdx".) P.S. Interface icons are another story, if you want one to match your model. |

Once you import the pic. You can go to the unit editor and create/copy your unit. (Create is the same as copy in the editor but with a different name). Then you can go to the Art section and change the icon. There are 3 options, choose the one that allows you to choose the imported file from a drop down menu. IMPORTANT: If the icon is an ability, make sure you imported: - The ability button / learn ability button - The disabled icon - The autocast icon (if needed) - I think there are more but I don't remember. So basically, in the unit editor, when you change the model, change the icon. |

The game should autodetects the proper portrait if they're in the same directory ... (use "Art - Model" with the unit) P.S. How new are you at RoC or TFT, so as to avoid redundancy of instructions? |
