Skinning requirements

i need to know how to acess the skins

What do you mean? Extracting the bmp files to edit them in a paint program like Paint shop Pro.

If so you need WC3 Viewer, i'll look around for a site that has it.

You need WinMPQ to extract the .blp files (skin files) from the Blizzard mpq files. Check tutorials for further information.

where are the files that need extracting though? Thats my problem

sometimes it turns blue on me when i am skinning with paint shop pro 8. so i got photoshop with the targa plugin and it doesnt do that
