Hi, I only just started doing modelling the other day, and I spent ages seeking and downloading all the programs required to convert formats and such. I am using MilkShape3D to make my models, and then using the plug-in to export them to War3 .mdl format. Then I edit the .mdl in notepad, as is required, and add in the texture name and animation sequences (there actually arent any, its just a doodad/static building). My problem arises when I try to use War3FileConverter to convert my .mdl to .mdx. There are two errors I have gotten, which are: - and I'm hoping possibly the programs creator could help me out? or anyone who knows whats going on there, because I surely dont ^_^. |

Those mean that you have problems with your MDL. It is not a problem with the exporter and the first error is not necessarily a problem in the textures or materials. Post your MDL and I'll look to see what's wrong. It gives very vauge errors, so just posting them doesn't help too much. |

Its ok I fixed it now from reading the plug in's thread. It was because of a bad header and some "#IND" in the vertices. All better now :) To ungroup taskbar items in XP: Right click on the task bar and select properties Uncheck the box "Group similar task bar items" :) |
