I'd like to know if there is a way I can it so an item only takes effect if it is in the first slot of the inventory. I want to make it so items that change stats, damage, and whatever will only take effect if placed on a certain spot, but I still want them to be able to carry around more than one item of this type :/ I suppose I could make triggers that take effect when a certain item is in that spot but I didn't really want to have to do that, I can do it if I have to I guess (but there's some certain item effects I can't do like that :/).
Well I guess I have another question which I thought of. Is there any way to store a hero's strength, intelligence, or agility as a variable or anything? Or maybe simple a way to transfer these stats from one hero to another, or anything of that sort? I know I could make the game simply keep track of the stats any time a hero levels up or uses tomes but the problem I had with that is simply that I was going to make a certain map that had a lot of heroes at one time, and they need to be able to change into new unit types without losing their stats. It would be a pain to keep track of stats for EVERY SINGLE HERO. Oh well I guess I can live with it that map idea was starting to get boring I got a fresh new idea now! But I need my friend to give my CD back if I ever want to start on it ;/
