Uther In Style

Heres a simple change to uther, including a new color scheme, a new belt, and a few changes to the armor. I wanted this to stay Uther, i did not go off on any drastic changes. I never liked the way he looked like a poor farmer with old crappy armor, so I fixed him up. Enjoy

Never really thought Uther looked like a hobo myself, perhaps you were looking at a different paladin skin.

Out of the 3 skins you just cluster posted, this is by far the best one.

Well sorry about the 3 in row posts, but I thought it would be easiest to read that way. If its against the rules then they can just delete them, I can post up the other 2 here.

I would have to say the blademaster is my personal favorite, then Uther, then Illidan.

I didn't want to completely change any of these skins from their original, I don't like the way some artists completely change the original skins and they normall don't turn out too good. Sometimes they do, and thats awesome but simplicity is somethin I was aiming for.

None of the 3 are up for download just yet, i plan to fix and polish them before I do that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also i would like to note I have a Navy Blue skinned version of the Ninja, where he has a nice color blue skin instead of the red. He also has a blue flamed armor instead of red. I will post up that version once I get some screen shots made.

This is what I have been thinking on changing:

Uther: A fancier hammer, and a book with a grail instead of a hammer, and a change to his shoulder pads to match his thigh pads (you can't tell from those screen shots but he has layered playe thigh armor.)

Blademaster: Change the colors of the flag post, make the bottom of his sandles and wood on the post into something more metallic, and make some minor changes to his sword.

Illidan: Im not sure where to go with him, I think he is fine the way he is, anything more would make him cluttered looking. Anyone have ideas?

Ok here is the blue version. Tommorow I will post up the modifications to all three skins.

that uther looks like a holy gold golem :D

is that a good thing? I wanted him to be gloriouse and totally awesome, to the point when you look at him directly you need to cover your eyes with your hands and say "aaahhw, dang that guy is glowing with awesome power!" You see he is kind of like the sun. Everyone knows the sun is the stuff. It supplies all the energy in our solar system (most of it), its really big and feiry, but its so awesome that you can't look directly at it. And thats a good thing, because if you COULD look at it, you would go blind from its awesomeness. In the same way, this Uther's skin makes him look like a god, not so much like the former hick country farmer boy he was.

You got to face it, his old colors were dull, uninteresting, bleached, and all of them had a the look of 10 year old shoe leather that has been roasting in the sun for several days.

o.O mostly recolors... :( try to start from scratch and free-hand... if u cant, then u might as well stop skinning, cos skinning dun only uses that, if u do only just dat, anyone can do it too... but i can see u have at least changed something which is a rilli good start, keep it up:)

it would make a brilliant summon for an ultimate, but i wouldnt want to use it as a hero on its own... or like somekind of metamorphosis, when the paladin gains super-holy strenghth and stuff. it has some good possubilities! :D

VANITY!!

Make him have a human skintone, so he can use for a wider variety of maps.

make his came a mink coat, give him brown skin and call him: Pimp Uther...
