RPG idea

I made a Thread about my RPG before, but it is deleted now. But, anyway, my RPG idea is some kind of special: You control a hero, in an totally open 1-player RPG. I will allow travel from planet to planet, solar system to solar system. The hero got a family and you choose what to do here and there. Does this sounds good at all? Feel free to post any character ideas, planet ideas, name ideas. Or other ideas.
