I dont have the sligtest idea on how to import models into my map. All i know is that I have a .mdx file my friend set me on my desktop, and i go to the object editor, select a unit, and click on Art - Model. When i get there it has the import model box greyed out saying there are no files I can import. |

You have to go to the Import Manager first. There, you have to import the model file. Then you have to set the correct path for it (I fear you have to ask your friend, what the correct one is). If you have finished that, you can go to the Object Editor and proceed as you explained. |

Alright, i went to Import Manager, found my file and imported it. I replaced the siege engine with the new model, but when i tried to place them on the map, they came out as checkered boxes. When i started a test map, there were no units there, but they were attacking. I couldnt select them, and i couldnt see them on the minimap, even though they were mine. |
