footman archer thing...

before i get started with making this i wanna know if it would work. my plan so far is remove the sword from footman then add on the bow. then i would move the archers arm animation over to the footmans arms. would this work?

Im not sure of the restrictions, but im pretty sure what your looking to do is possible. Just wait until [mad]lion finishes his full transfering animation tut

you probly couldn't, but you could bow bow in hands and tranfer all of the archers animations.

Yeah, it'd be INCREDIBLY hard to do this, err, as opposed to just transfering ALL of the archer's anims. You'd have to set all of the animations frames... lets say... to 10,000 more than they are, and go through and convert all of the rotations and such on the bones for each given frame to that frame +10000 frames... a long and tedious project I would say... adding anims are much harder than just replacing them all together.

ok. replacing them shouldnt be to bad. like i said somewhere else, i wish you could edit the anims instead of have to replace them

hmm.. so what exactly is the long tedius project? there a tut somewhere?
