This attachment is a beta version of my Footman War CTF map. I've polished it a lot so far... you would not BELIEVE how much has changed between the original and final versions. They're like two completely different maps, heh. Anyways, I was hoping that I could post this so that I could get some good quality testers to give me their input on the map. Most of the casual gamers on B.net don't say much, and if they do, its not very informative. I must warn you that this map is needlessly complex and can have a ridiculous learning curve (or so the testers say), but if you can get the hang of it, then I think you'll find that it is a very well-polished map with lots of depth. (Also, yes, using altars for a respawn system is pretty primitive and kind of stupid. Unfortunately, when I tried using an automatically timed hero respawn system, I kept running into an odd bug where the hero simply wouldn't respawn that seemed impossible to fix no matter what I changed with the triggers. Finally, I just gave up and used altars.) This map is nothing like your typical footman wars. EDIT: I put up a new version |

Well, naturally loving Footman Wars maps; I'll be sure to check it out. Just not right this second, I hope it's good though! |

I havent been able to play multiplayer, but anyway ill give what feedback I can: Pros -Good terrain, for a fmw -All the good extra type thinga, like mass move and a duel/deploy units -Lots of heroes -Quite polished map wise Cons -Dunno if all the possible deployed units are balanced or not I cant comment on balances/gameplay/bugs having not multiplayer but if/when I do ill edit this post. Overall I think its certainly a unique experience compared to normal fmws. |

Footmen wars.... TEsted it, Nice terrain, I played it once but from what i got its kinda unblaenced. Footman wars always were kinda borin to me though anyway, 2/5. |

How is it unbalanced? Bah... I can't improve the map if noone gives informative criticism! What's messed up? Umm, Vilk, if you tested my map, then why does it say that only 1 person has downloaded it? Wouldn't it have to say 2 then? Zotax was the last person to download this version |
