Well, if you are here..I've collected some works of Bifrost to get you interested and inform you the only MORPG of WC3 universe.
It has your favorite RPG chars from popular RPGs such as Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger to add more fun but story and most of chars are original.. These pics are only few examples of our work.

The Bifrost War

Before the life began in Bifrost, the heaven and the underworld were already fighting for the control over it. The war continued until the world of Bifrost was filled with corpses that formed mountains and river dyed red from blood. The Dragons living deep in the underworld were neutral and did not interfere in their war. Dragon leader Basuki hated the war. Hel made a compromise with Basuki that this will be the last war if he helps them to win the war. Basuki agreed and helped the Underworld against the heaven. The situation did not change.The war continued and finally after 500 years, Dyaus and Hel finally reached an agreement to end the war once and for all. They promised to share the control of Bifrost but not to interfere with each other in ruling.

Prince Radin's fall

After 2000 years of peaceful days, the God of Peace Radin, who was also the son of Dyaus, was born. He was praised for his excellent judgement skill and his handsome features. He became the most popular God in both the world of Bifrost and heaven. All the gods except for Mitra were jealous and wished to destroy him but it was difficult since he was son of Dyaus. One day, the heaven gods(excluding Mitra) met together secretively and created a plan to destroy Radin. To set up the plan, Shu, one of the gods, went down to the underworld(which was against the law for both heaven and underworld after the compromise they made over the war in Bifrost) and met with Erlik, prince of Death who wanted to take over his father's position(the ruler of the Underworld). Shu demanded Erlik to help destroy Radin and he will help him to become the ruler of the Underworld. They reached an agreement because it was beneficial to both to the gods of heaven and Erlik. The plan was to make Radin fall in love with the Underworld queen Rangda(Hel's wife) which will bring anger to both Heaven and Underworld. Erlik told his mother(Rangda) about the plan and she agreed; she would gain more power if Hel died. Rangda was beautiful and perfect looking, it was obvious that Radin will fall in love with her. The plan was soon carried out and expectedly, Radin fell in love with Rangda. The rumor soon spread throughout the heaven and the underworld. As soon as Hel heard that Radin was trying to steal his wife, he immediately declared the war against Heaven. Once again, the world of Bifrost soaked in blood. Once Basuki realized what was going on, He lost trust in Hel and left the Underworld with his dragons and landed on the continent of Ratatosk, where their existance will be unknown for a long time. Anyway, It was time for heavenly gods to act. They told Dyaus that Radin sinned and harmed Dyaus's reputation to the heaven and Bifrost and that he should be banned from heaven. Mitra, the only god that favored Radin, disagreed and with his help, Radin was not punished. The gods were not pleased and met with Erlik again for a new plan. This time they used Rangda to tell Radin to kill Dyaus. Radin, who was blinded by Rangda's beauty, listened to Rangda and decided to kill his father. When Radin sneaked in his father's room and tried to kill him, he was discovered by guards and was arrested. This was unavoidable. Dyaus had no choice but to ban his son from heaven and even Mitra refused to help him this time. He was sent down to the continent of Asgard and many Tians followed him down with him because many still loved him.

Fall of the Underworld

Now it was time for Erlik to act. As promised, Heavenly gods isolated Hel by himself and used their power to prevent anyone from interfering while Erlik and Rangda assassinated him. Erlik soon became the ruler of the Underworld but not for long. Rudra, God of Destruction and Hel's brother, found out about the Erlik's secret meeting with heaven gods and killed Erlik with no mercy. He did not kill Rangda because he had his eyes on her for a long time. Rudra now became the ruler of underworld and met with Dyaus to explain what had really happened. Dyaus now knew that his son was innocent and tried to get him back to heaven. Radin was disappointed by the gods and did not want to return to heaven where all the gods were his enemies. As Radin refused to return, Dyaus became angry and punished the gods by dividing their powers. Atar:fire, Tiamat:Water, Geb: Earth, Shu: wind, Mitra: light(before that gods had all the powers instead of one). The war ended and Bifrost gained its peace back. However it wasn't over yet. Osiris, the God of Undead and Hel's Younger brother and Rudra's older brother, was angered because he didn't become the king. He gathered his followers and got out of the underworld to the continent of Vanaheim. He revived Erlik(he was a great warrior) by using his undead power and gathered army in Vanaheim, one day planning to attack and take over the Underworld...


Life in Bifrost

After the first Bifrost war(when heaven and underworld fought for control over Bifrost), corpses of Tians and Onis filled the lands of Bifrost. From Tians' corpses, lifeforms began to form and overtime, they became humans. From Onis' corpses, Maruts came alive(Note that Tians and Onis are like.. gods... therefore their corpses are special). They soon populated the world of Bifrost and worshipped gods. Maruts worshipped Oni gods(underworld gods) and and Humans worshipped Tian gods(heaven gods). Groups of intelligent humans formed a group and declared themselves "enlightened" or now called "Sitas" and began to dominate the world of Bifrost. They controlled all the continents (not Ratatosk because it was not discovered). They used humans like slaves and Maruts hid from them. Sitas had high tech and they were talented in magic. they trapped all humans in the continent of Leminix and used them for labor work. Nesper was used to trap all Maruts who they considered "wild animals". They had their main base in the continent of Asgard and Vanaheim. After 1000 years, God of Peace Radin was born. As gods tried to destroy him, heaven and underworld fought once again. Radin was kicked out of heaven to Asgard and this caused problems to Sitas. Sitas were no match for the former god, Radin, who was mad about the whole situation and killed Sitas mercilessly. Sitas had to give up Asgard and retreated to Vanaheim. Timing couldn't have been worse, Angry Erlik and Osiris soon appeared in the land of Vanaheim and formed a deadly army that annihilated Sitas in Vanaheim. Few who survived excaped to Mimir(which was unused due to its small land size). Humans in Leminix soon realized Sitas were getting weak and rebelled. Weakened Sitas had no choice but to surrender Leminix to Sitas. Even in Nesper, Maruts attacked Sita base and was now conquered. Mimir was now the only land Sitas owned. They lost almost all their technology because most of them were located in Asgard and Veneheim. Few years later, Sitas become a forgotten race.

Humans in other hand, developed and became civilized using technology Sitas left behind in Leminix. They soon became a advanced race and was undisturbed for many years. Humans have forgotten that other continents existed and they were the only ones lived in the world... until a half-dead Marduk crashes in the town of Kanon.

Maruts were still were uncivilized and stayed feral. They populated in the continent of Nesper and as they hunted each other for survival. They developed to be strong monsters and the continent of Nesper became deadly, almost impossible to travel alone.



Dragon Race

It was when humans rebelled against Sitas in Leminix as they were getting weaker. One Sita magician escaped with few survivors with a boat and traveled to Mimir. Instead of landing on Mimir, the boat took them to a strange place which they didn't recognize. Fafnir searched for a town but he found a strange creature lying on the ground. It was a dragon. Fafnir was scared but as he turned to go back to his people, the dragon spoke to him "I am dying slowly.. I would like to transfer my body to you human.."..He introduced himself as Basuki and slowly explained the war that went on because of Radin. He traveled all the way from Underworld to guide his dragons to the secret continent of Ratatosk where they could live peacefully. Now he has drained out all his energy and he would join the nature. Basuki explained that Fafnir will gain great knowledge and power once he receives his sould but he won't be human again(Sita is a human). Fafnir accepted Basuki's offer and became a dragon. His followers also became dragons and their descendents were called Marduks. Marduks have ability to become human form( human form meaning human looking but still has dragon shape) and their existance is unknown until later in the history.



Present

Humans always believe they were alone in the world(even the existance of Sitas were forgotten) but... 300 years later... a Marduk crashes in the port town of Kanon in Leminix continent. People were excited about this new discovery of a different race existing in this world and many goes to explore the world. This is where you come in. You are an adventurer and you are to explore this mysterious world!

Well that is what Bifrost is all about. visit our Forum often for updates and any suggestions or questions. PM is always welcome and leaving comments in forum will be helpful to us.

Bifrost is now hiring staffs, if interested in the project, pm me with your skill and perferably examples.

There is some very brilliant models and overall information there - congratulations on doing so. Two tips though:

-It really should be on a website. All of that information is a lot to take in. Oh, you say you have a forum (and presumably a site)- where is it?

-You're a bit vague in requesting staff. Don't you have an idea on the specific type of people you want? Surely you do. :)

Other than that: This looks very promising. Keep up the great work. 8))

Hm... You got one thing wrong. Myself as an Swedish person, I'd like Hel to be "The Oni Queen" since Hel was the the Evil Queen of Hel's Kingdom. So ya. *Waves finger* No males in Hel. :D

Whitepaw : I believe Hel is from Norse myth and he is a male...demon kind.. don't remember exactly. but all the names are from other myths(jap,chinese,hindu,norse,egyptian etc..) that i researched and came up with names that match every category

No... i dont think hel is a male demon, because in norse myths, mostly the bad guys is giants or trolls, but theres a chick living in nifrellheim wich would be as close to hell we can get. where those who die off sickness off old age will go, instead of go and party all afterlife with odin and thor in vallahalla, but back to topic, this chick might be called hel, i dont remember....

ahh.. he is right.. Hel is a she.. but since this is not norse, it doesn't have to match up to that =)

one idea- you should use the infernal meteor special effect as sepheroth's special power- like black meteria in ff7 8))

Sephiroth is a guest characters not one of the main char. Cloud is one of main char though. but seph will appear as a boss in one of the quests of north leminix map so maybe ill add that

is the save system going to be like that of the gauntlet legends map, where you have to host each separate map and type your characters code in to play? if you don't know what i mean i can give you the map I'm talking about

if so you could have all the maps being hosted on the b net at one time, therefore you could have more like 70 people on instead

o and by the way plz put omnislash in there

omnislash is already in there, it will be similar to gauntlet legend just that almost impossible to hack unlike that game. and that game was crap..
