How can I make a spell that transforms a unit into a monster without the monster losing its ability to attack. I tried tod o it based on hex, and made a spell that targets my units and turns them into a hydra, but the transformed unit can't attack. Can anyone help ?

Are you using the transform ability that turns you into a critter? That could be the problem

I'm indeed using this ability, but I thought it would not be a problem, and that the transformed units couldn't attack because they were changed into an unit that can't attack. I thought of using a new ability, but I don't think there is another one that can transform a unit into another one emote_confused . (I could possibly use triggers to make it, but as I'm making a campaign I prefer not to use too many triggers for abilities 'cause it takes a lot of time to import them into all the maps.)

How about the form abilities (bear form, crow form).

As well, there is a tutorial on this site that may help you.

I can't use the bear form ability or such because what I wan't is one unit to be able to transform other units. I couldn't find a tutorial either. Thanx anyway.

Only problem with that is that the new creature (and the new-return creature if you have a revert spell) would not have a change in Mana. More importantly, I could just change and change back to bring my health to full again.... I would be invincible...

INVINCIBLE!!!
