Point of off-topic?

I see no point in the off-topic discussion forum other than spam, flame and religion bashing. Only useful thread is the attachment thread for hosting images. Why do we need the off-topic forum? It does not relate at all to warcraft and it just brings in stupid morons who want their way and just post away. I thoght this site was for making maps, not arguing over moronic questions and opinions.
