1 meg, in my opinion, is a bit much. But you do what you must to make the map better.

If you mean map size as in file size, up to 1 meg. If you mean map size, as in the dimensions, then I'd say 160x160 MAX. People complained about 160x160 on my map so I changed it to 128x128... if you dont absolutely need space, get rid of it. Trust me. :foot:

Reasonable=500-700kb tops, theres no excuse for a map to be over >1mg IMO.

I have to agree with zotax, go up to 300 megs if it is singleplayer, but not over 700k if it is multiplayer. <500 is actually better. 700 is pushing the limit.

lol, love to see the 300 meg single player map. Anyway about 500kb is the limit for a b.net map. 50 megs is probably around the reasonable limit for a single player campaign and then only if its a large RPG.

Really depends on the map... but, yeah, 1 meg is alittle much, but 500 is fine. Thou it's wonderful to enter a game and look at your DL bar and it's done in a second...
