Unreal Army 2004

Well, I was playing unreal tournament and decided I'd snatch the name and use it for a different map. So anyways for this i'm probably going to need:

Triggerer
Modeler/Skinner
Anyone else who wnats to do something

I don't care if your really good or bad, as long as your willing to work hard on a large map come on and join!


The idea is basically as follows:

On a huge arena style map two commanders, two warchiefs, two demi-gods, and two dreadlords are facing off in a total melee remake. The map is laid out sort of like melee, but much larger than a 10 player map needs to be, with plenty of open space, but also plenty of places to use terrain to your advantage.

The map will also be littered with mercenary camps, where you purchase your army, and item shops etc. The mercenaries can be bought, and the map will, in the end include an optional "gambling" syste mthat can be enabled to let players try to lower the price of mercenaries, or raise them for every player by accident.

In the beginning you start with only a band of your race, and your hero, each hero is from a different race and has special powers that will only boost your own races special powers.

Alongside mercenary and item camps are race specific camps, these are small enclosures that when a player enters, will either attack him, or let him/her buy that races mercenaries. They will only attack enemies of the race (so night elf can only enter night elf, human in human, orc in orc, etc).

Now, the base of the whole map is the battle system. EVERY unit will be equipped with one of 3 random "specials" that only that unit can recieve (when aunit is created, it recieves 1/3 that are for that unit only) mercenaries only get 1 per mercenary race, but they get stronger with stronger mercenaries. Each special calls upon a divine power (there are a multitude of these "mini-gods" that dont have names, but represent a specific power) when you call on one, the screen will shake slightly (using tehse give you an advantage, so there has to be a small disadvantage). Then the god will appear, flying from one of the corners of the screen to the targetted place of the spell. When they arrive, they preform the spell and dissapear.

Now, for the fun of it, and for the unrealness of it all, all the default pictures will be changed, and all the names of things like damage, strengh, armor etc will be changed. I can do this part if you guys dont understand what I mean. Anyways, the map will be really cool if I can get a group put together.

PLEASE READ THIS IF YOUR GOING TO JOIN THE TEAM ---- Show me a little picture or something of your work, a picture of terrain, a screenshot of a trigger you made (mayb a spell you once made) a skin that you've done recently, or a model you did in the last few months.

Hmmm... This seems interesting. Do you think I could join as a terrainer and a skinner (yes, I can do both)? Here's a few screen shots of my work... Note that the units can walk on the platforms :D
