I did this frost golem using triggers, i just thought i would post it here, if you want to know how here is the trigger: Events: map initialization. Actions: Special effect on unit attached to "hand right" and "hand left" of unit (random unit from unit group (unit of type Frost golem) using the frost wyrms attack projectile if you dont understand this, i can post a more detailed explanation and here it is |

Heres also a fire golem done the same way but the special effects path is: Doodads\Cinematic\FireRockSmall\FireRockSmall.mdl |

Hehe you changed the color of the golem then added special effects on both arms. |

Ya well im good at trigs so i know. You could maybe attach blue fire to the feet of the frost and see what happens. If anyone rembers the Sorc of TOB with fire arms this is the same thing. |

What exactly are all of areas where you can attach special effects? all i know are : hands head overhead and chest |

There u go, have fun with ur sfx attachments =) : Attachment Point Names: overhead (floats over the unit's head, but doesn't sway with the head as it animates) head (sways with the unit's animation) chest origin (usually at the base of a unit's feet) hand foot weapon (for heroes) sprite (for buildings) medium (for buildings) large (for buildings) Attachment Point Modifiers: left right mount (for mounted units) rear (for quadrupeds) first (for buildings) second (for buildings) third (for buildings) fourth (for buildings) fifth (for buildings) sixth (for buildings) rallypoint (for buildings) Yeah, I didnt wrote those...Draco did, thx Draco |

you should have put the sfx everywhere, like head and all. i like the frost golem better too ;) |
