Ok, the campaign hasn't started yet... And not going to for at least a month, but here's some details. Alright, this is a campaign. But for now - I'm going to revolve around the Multiplayer Map of the campaign. This Multiplayer Map is to help spread out the popularity of the campaign for when it's released. -- You know, build up hype and such, but here goes. Every player starts with a main unit. All these units are the SAME. What makes them different is their class, main skill, and what they wear and use. There are 3 melee type of skills, 1 range, and 3 magical. MELEE: Long Sword Short Sword Axe RANGE: Marksman (Bows, Throwing Knives, etc...) MAGIC: Conjurer (Summon stuff) Alchemist (Makes Potions) Destructive (Elemental spells like, Frost, Fire, Shock) There are also 2 types of armor tpyes; HEAVY ARMOR: Slows you down, wears out your fatigue faster, but much more defense. LIGHT ARMOR: Slows you down, but only by a bit. Wears out only a little fatigue, small amount of defense. What makes this map special is: COMBOS - FATIGUE - SPELLCHAINS (Which will be explained further down) Long Sword, Short Sword, and Axe will be under the class of WARRIOR Marksman Class would be Range type players. Magic Class would be under the users of Conjurism, Alchemism, and Destruction. Now each SKILL can be leveled up. (Magic is a special type of level-up) Every time that skill levels up, if their weapon matches that skill, their damage increases. (i.e. Long Sword is lvl 80, and the player is using a long sword type of weapon - His damage increases dramatically for being such a high level) When Long Sword is their current ability, triggers will know that he's under the Warrior Class for now. So, his current skill being used is set to LONG SWORD, and he gains these 5 abilities: WARRIOR: (Warriors gain these 5 abilities --- Long/Short and Axe) Pun Slash Normal Stall Rapid Marksmen: (They gain these 5) Multi Normal Arch Stall Rapid Destruction: (They gain these 5) Frost Flame Static Stall Dark Conjurers and Alchemists must find ITEMS in order to gain their 5 abilities. Once they use one of these abilities, it is forever gone and must find it again. Magic is a special type as I said. Everytime Magic skill levels up, the player gets to choose whether he wants to level up a particular part of his spell. (i.e. does he want to make Frost damage more powerful? Maybe flame) NOW The most important unique part of this map is Combos and Spellchains. They work 2 in almost the same. COMBOS: A player has fatigue, and that fatigue results in his overall speed factor, and damage. Less fatigue = less damage and movement. Total Fatigue Loss = Faint and Exp Loss on certain skills) Combos are used to do bonus damage and create special effects on enemy units. To start a combo, use the ability "Target Unit" to target the unit to be attacked. Then use abilities like "Normal, Stall, Rapid, Rapid" in order to create a special combo. These combos drain your fatigue more, but also increase damage dealt to the opponent and rises your skill more. SPELLCHAINS: Same as COMBOS, just with magic. Now any player can create a combo. But 1 player is limited to a maximum of 4 combos. Stalling in a combo results in less fatigue loss. 2 players can simataneously make a combo to create an 8 combo, 12 combo, or even 16 combo. But that requires a lot of skill and precision. That's the general idea. Why am I making a multiplayer map again? Build up hype, but also it'd be like a bonus for playing our campaign for when you play our campaign, you can get new items for the multiplayer map. Generally, I wouldn't give this idea out, but since no one applied to my other thread, I guess I'll just give it out. - Please note that the name of the campaign might change. What I'm looking for? I need the following: Skilled Terrainer Skilled Jass Scripter/Advanced Triggerer I want DEDICATED ONLY. I do not want you showing up 2-3 times a week. 4 times a week I can handle, but coming on 2-3 days a week is unacceptable. |

I'm a big fan of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. But this map is a mix of Fable/Morrowind mostly. (Mostly Fable) but in any case, the idea IS good, isn't it? |
