So I have been working on a map for fun and I am having 2 problems with heros. They all range around the Ranger class (Sylvanna Windrunner was one of them). I made one and attached it to the Altar of Kings. Now, the way it works is that you get an extra hero not when you evolve your town hall, but when you research a new skill (The skill itself inhances your workers to mine better, have more HP and can build new buildings) The skill can be upgraded twice, so it is like upgrading your town hall, but it is the units themselves. So when you start the game, you can build your new hero, for first hero cost. You can build a new hero after the first worker evo, with the 2nd hero cost, Then the last hero after the second worker evo. I hope you all have that... now the problem: When you build the Altar, the hero costs the same as a second hero, not a first. That is the first problem. The second problem comes from the fact that if I were to give a free hero ( just give one through a trigger), it can still produce a new hero, as opposed to allow you to revive the old hero. As well, There is an issue with building the 3rd hero. As the worker upgrade is a second iteration of the spell when checking for prerequisites, I cannot set it properly (you cannot select 2nd iterations as prerequisites). I hope I am not too confusing. Sorry, I can't help you right now, but here's a simplified expliniation (I hope I got it right): -Heroes are trained after a certain upgrade is researched. -First hero costs resources, but needs to be free, but then it also end up being free when reviving -Having a problem getting it to recognize the 3rd upgrade to train the 3rd hero, as 3rd-level upgrade can't be used as prerequisists (or something) I'm going to look something up on that tonight and see if I can figure something out. |
