For some reason, my Death Knight skin isn't affecting his in-game portrait. I'm changing the alpha channel of his head (to remove it), and it is still there when I check it in-game. I popped open the DeathKnight_portrait.mdx and I only see one skin reference; the same one I edited. I also checked War3x.mpq for a new skin/model, but no luck. Am I missing something here? |

Hmmmm, it works with mine, I'm afraid I don't know whats wrong. Whitepaw for shame... If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. |

I'm assuming the changes affect the face/head of the DK. Are you using a new model? I've had portrait problems with new models imported before. Especially if the model has the pathname for the skin changed. |

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but, I think it has something to do with using the right .mpq archive for your WC3 Viewer. I can't get Evil Illidan to show up "in game". I am posting a question about it in the proper forum and will edit this post if I get a good answer. Try doing a quick test on evil illidan and see if you get the same results as me. I will test the death night. |

Why would you use the WC3 viewer or an mpq editor for in game? Just import it. It's that easy. |

ive noticed that in the orc warlock skin, there is a separate skin area for the portrait face ( as well as a separate model, he has teeth in that one) maybe th DK has something like that that is hidden under something( like in the wardens cape thing) |

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but, I think it has something to do with using the right .mpq archive for your WC3 Viewer. Yeah that sounds kind of dumb now that I think about it. I have been busy lately but I will run the test I mentioned above and post the results soon. Plus I know a guy that could probably give us the answer. I'll PM him about it. |
