Drizzt Do'Urden
i made a skin its jaina but it wont load in world editor.
i used Units\Human\Jaina\Jaina.blp for file thingy and it says when i try to put it in game "Cannot find Units\Human\Jaina\Jaina
plz help

Did you restart the editor after you imported the skin? So many people have not done that when they first import something.

Yah i did but when i placed the unit there was a big green box

get warcraft3viewer or some other kind of converter. warcraft3viewer is the best one though, i think.

Here is the blp. Rmember to give it the correct skin path. If you don't know the path, once it's imported double-click the file, tick the box called "custom file path" and in the space above it delete the "War3mapImported\Jaina.blp" and type "Units\Human\Jaina\Jaina.blp" but without the speech marks.

also remember that the file name has to be the same as the original skin so I renamed it to Jaina again. Get Wc3Viewer in the downloads section and you will be able to convert skins to .blps yourself.

ok i did that but when i placed unit it was a red cape and staff that jaina uses and nothing else

Did you mess with alpha channels? If so then yes it can do that. If no, then i dont know what the deal is.

Check any one of the billion some-odd tutorials out there on how to deal with alpha channels when skinning.

I am far too kind to you. Here is a tutorial on how to fix alpha channels. This should work if you follow it correctly.
