i've discovered that one hero are only alowed to have 5 skills... well i want make it six.... how the **** du i do that??? or is it at all posible... anyway my skill system is screwed up i cant do that.... but please wright something even sugestions..... thx -Nemeziz- |

If you want to go beyond the five ability slots that are there, you need to do some serious fiddling; there are four things I can think of off the top of my head: 1. You'd have to free up one of the spaces on the command button area (getting rid of patrol of something like that), but that is really very difficult, and causes a lot of trouble if you want to use the button you got rid of :ggani: 2. Create a 'second' ability menu; you know when you click on the red cross ability button to learn a new ability when you level up? Well, if you fiddle a bit, you could make another button (perhaps using the gold cross sign) to take you to a little menu like the 'learn new ability', but instead of learning that ability when you click on it, it allows you to cast it. But that would be horribly complicated to do. 3. Do the same sort of thing, except have an 'ability book' item in the hero's inventory; when you click on the book to activate it, it takes you to a screen like in 2. , but in this case, an inventory slot is taken up. 4. The easiest one (i think) is to make it so there's a console command to activate the ability. You'd have to make it so that the level of spell cast via the console command is bound to the level the hero has learnt the ability to. These are a little bit complex (I once managed to make a buggy version of the fourth one for original RoC). good luck :D |

thankx but i got an idea... i wont giv the hero any skils just the to basic (str up and agility up) but then when his ability will be cleared i make it AS A upgrade then i via triggers can remve it too... but thankx for the the surgestions... i like the one with the spell book in inventory:D |
