I need some partners

Ok, I'm making a map called 'The Holy Land' basicly I will be doing terrain, I have someone doing skins, and now I need someone to do triggers. The map is about the jews and the palistinians fighting for the holy land where jesus was born. To win you have to grab your nationality's flag from the opposite side of the map, and place it on the birth place of Jesus to mark it as your territory. Anybody interested in doing triggers?

I see that you are trying to make real world nationality warfare. I urge you not to, unless you plan to make a kickass map. It will not appeal to many people other than jewish or palestinian. I might be wrong though.
If you want to make jews vs. palestinians then my advice make the terrorists=palestinians, and swat team=israel, both sides have strong points. The palestinians have the masses of people and children they use to hide behind, and the jews have the strong army and missile system. The jewish mission is to take over whole palestine and palestinian mission is to take back the israel and kill all jews.:D

but the jews aren't a swat team. Don't the jews usually lose? But anyways, even if your not into real life situation wars, you will still like this map if you liked the paintball and sniper games. o_O

Psh. It's usually the Jews get an ass kicking first. Then they roll on over with their tanks and kick the other sides ass.

I advise not to do this map. I mean c'mon, some people will be offended. I personally wouldn't play because I think both teams are bullshit 8)) Other than that, you'd have to make it really entertaining or else it would basically be melee or that crappy mafia map.

why would anyone be offended? It's not like I'm making it up, it's a real situation, and plus I'm not MAKING the jews lose, that's up to how well you play.

It can't be offensive cause you're NOT making it up? Ok, the reason it could be offensive, is because in the real world, people actually die daily because of the conflict in the middle east and they may think you're making a joke of what is real for them. This is almost as bad as a game I saw someone program in class where you had to pilot two planes into two towers.

The reason people aren't as offended about WW2 games and so forth is because those wars are long over, but the issue you're talking about still exists and still threatens people's lives. Ok?

And yes Israel usually kick ass in their military conflicts, except for the time they underestimated that general, hrrm, it's been a while since I've studied history I'm afraid and I can't remember the name of the war nor the name of the general.

Perhaps instead, you could adapt this into something else, rename the countries involved and make up you're own map, perhaps one were the Israel equivilent truly is surrounded and don't have the Mediterranean to their left.
