I'm looking for a forum to get hosted. NOT a website or anything, just a forum to advertise my work of my project. I was thinking Wc3campaigns but they don't seem to accept anymore projects. Can anyone help? |

well, keep an eye open for wc3campaigns in case they do accept more projects because it is the best choice in my opinion. You could always head to Samods, but I'm not sure if they give a forum. Just check. www.wc3Mod-forge.com is an option, but you'll have to pass a test. the Mapper's Guild accept projects and they'll give you a forum. I wouldn't recomend www.warcraftiii.net because of their current status. And finnaly you could go to wc3designs pick one:D |

Why do you need a forum? You can always just use a free website host if you're just displaying several textfiles and images. The purpose of forums is for discussion and, for campaigns, to generate interest in them. On samods (Thanks for the mention Kanyou ;)) - we only host mods and campaigns with major work to show off that show promise. |

the main reason I'm looking for a forum is to advertise my work and to communicate with those who are waiting for my project to know what they like, don't like and what they want. I guess my choices are limited between the Mapper's Guild and www.wc3designs.tk, I don't want to go to ******** because they seem to have a bad reputation (I may be wrong) and since Samods only takes in promising projects and mods, I doubt that what I have done is enough. I guess I'll have a look between the Mapper's Guild and Wc3designs. |

A website could do your advertising (And you can do it all yourself without having to wait for others), and email\IM programs can keep you in contact with staff. Note that I said promising projects - not necessarily very nearly or entirely complete ones. We have a few developing projects, but we just make sure they are headed in the right direction when they join. :) If you would like hosting at the SA, I'll certainly evaluate your work. If so, please email me ([email protected]) some screenshots and info. |

Heh, I should also thank you Kyanou, for a mentioning of The Mapper's Guild. We do accept any Mod's, Projects, and Artist Space for users, as long as you have something to show for your work after a while. Right now, the site is closed due to renovation while we update a new system into the boards, if you still wish for space just PM with your questions. |
