I really have no clue how to make these AI things work...the first one I'm working on is probably the most complex, it's supposed to make an enemy Dranei base attack a nest of Black Dragons (not player controlled). I've made an AI with one test wave, given it peons, it goes about mining gold happily when executed, but it never makes new units or anything, barely even responds when attacked, doesnt make new laborers when i kill one...it's generally rather sedentary. What do I need to do to make a working AI, and what do I have to do for the black dragons to make them a valid attack target? |

Please post your AI, it will be much easier to suggest improvement if we actually know what code you already have. |

Bah, it doesnt let me upload it...says something about illigal file type...when I run it they start mining gold, but dont make any effort to do ANYTHING otherwise, though they occasionally get around to repairing damaged buildings. I really have NO idea how these AI work... |

You could change the file extension or put it in a zip-file, and you will be able to upload it. Have you read the AI & Jass FAQ thread? Because if you have not, you definitely should, that's where I learned about Jass and creating AI... Happy reading! |
