I also asked this at the ability-forum, but then I realised this might be a model-issue, so I thought I ask over here anyway.. How can I get my custom models to shoot things from a specif point, instead of having projectiles originating at their feat (since that's what is happening right now..) oh, and while I'm at it: has anyone ever had any succes with setting blizparticle to 'squirt'? whenever I use it in an animation, it will trigger at the beginning of the anim (even when I want it the trigger halfway or so), and will only trigger once (like only the first attack for example). Ah, origin problem solved! Not the particle squirt thing though, so if anyone knows how to get these working properly. |

That's how squirt works; it "front loads" the emission of particles so that they occur at the beginning of the animation (hence the name). I believe this is mentioned in the art tools documentation (a must read, even if you're mdl editing) |

No, according to the arttools manual (which I of course read several times during modelling) the squirt should be triggered by a "particle/sec"-key, causing the particles to be 'fired' at the time that key is met, 'firing' the amount of particles set at that key. So in theory, this means I could place this key at the very end of a animation. And this does work well when just running the warcraft preview in max3d, but in-game, it just triggers at the beginning of the animation. So... ehm... :bgrun: |

ah, I see what you mean. My bad. |
