this is open for ideas and flames and help on anything i may need. i might need some team members to help iwth itmes once i get the basic system layed out. and i will definitly need help with a saving system because of the complexity of how everything will need to be saved what i have so far: u dont get to choose squat. u start off as a villager. king gives u money and signs u up a soldier for his castle. use the money to buy a wepon u can only hold 1 wepon at a time. when u have u a wepon in inventory u click it to equip it. changing ur unit into the matching model. exp. equip a bow become a archer. u can change wepons anytime u feel like. LEVELING: when u lvl u get 3 attribute points. u put the points into either strength, agility or intelegence. u keep these same attirbutes whenever u switch wepons. when u get so many kills with a ceritain wepon u gain a lvl with that wepon and eal more damage with it. exp. when u kill 10 units with a sword u become a amature swordsman and eal more damage. RANGE: for ranged wepons. bow and spear so far. for every 3 points in strength u get +15 to range for bow and +10 to range for Spear. Housing: every player has there own house with a bed, bath, teleports they've opened, and fireplace. a good place to story wepons or other items u dont wanna sell. HEALING: there will be NO items that heal execpt for food. u heal thru sleep, bathing, and eating. u can sleep and bath in ur house. u can buy a tent to carry with u to sleep with. u can bath in any form of water in the map. u can only bath 2 times a day tho. there will be an item that lets u take meat from a dead corpse and cook it on a open fire. raw meat will heal but cooked mean will heal more. u have a negative life regen also. TELEPORTS: there will be teleports spread throughout the lvls so when u enter the teleport it take u to ur house and opens a teleport in your house to take u to the spot u came from. what needs to be done well so far only triggers for player 1 are ready so i need to do triggers for all the other players items: i need to finish all the items. items will give spells. and they will upgrade after so many uses similar to FFORPG. terrain: i only have the first little big of terrain done. i hate doing it. save system, enemy units, quests, and other such things to enhance gameplay, there will be a job system. NO NATIONS. u will earn money thru jobs (farmer, deliever boy, mercenary etc.) one quests thats is planned. after so much time passes in game a quests opens up from a villager. a player talks to the villager and she says someone has stolen something from her house. then a randomly picked player gets the stolen item in there inventory. its everybodys job to kill the picked player with the item and return it to the lady before he returns it to her to clear his name. if anybody has any other ideas for any truley original quests please post after i finish the triggers for all players i will post a Alpha version with very little done to it just so pepole can see the unit system in action |

Heh, when you level you get three points, and you have three stats.... would'nt the most logical thing be to put one point into each stat? `s |

put 1 point into each stat???? no! lets think why would someone whos gonna focus on a bow and use NO SPELLS whatsoever. put points into intellegence when it does nothing but boost mana? |

here is whats finished so far. this is just to show off the hero system and help gain some team members. not even close to being finished. only single player right now so dont bother trying multiplayer has no spell items or sleeping bags or tents or such which it needs badly. please report any bugs or suggestions. also i just realized this was posted in wrong section will someone please move this to the Maps in Development section what i need more than anything right now is for someone to go thru and make a copy triggers and adjust them for players 2 thru 10. you'll have to create new varibles for the players too and theres alot of the and it will be time consuming. |
