ABout half a year ago I played an RPG map called Dragonlands with a friend on LAN and everything worked geat - it was awesome. Now... when I try to play most of my warcraft3 RPGs with other people they are unplayable because the dialouge\in-game cutscenes takes ten times longer than it should! This makes it unplayable unless you want to spend half an hour getting through an intro instead of 3 minutes!! The exact same maps worked in multiplayer before but no longer.... what causes this and is there anything I can do? we are playing on frozen throne and the latest patch. We were trying to play at a LAN and also are playing over the internet with LANcraft. I've seen this problem in battlNEt also when ive joined an rpg before. |

I think your problem lies within the RoK 'Wait' action. Instead of the newly improvised TFT 'Wait (Game-Time)' action, 'Wait' counts time as every player in the game, including lag times. 'Wait (Game-Time)' removes this problem by ignoring other player's lag. Also, if you have RoK, you can add a 'For every integer A, do action' loop, creating a wait time for all 12 players, so that they all view the cinematic at their own rate. |

I did not create these RPG maps, and all of them worked before... why would this start happening now? Also, lag isn't much of a problem for LAN games obvisouly |

So revert to the version of warcraft that the maps were made for. I'm almost positive that Blizzard keeps a record of these. And if not, some fan-site must. |
