Where can I find the actual models of stuff in Warcraft to change around?

How can I convert them to something Milkshape can use?

In order to extract the models from warcraft III, get warcraft III viewer in the top tendownloads on the main page.

The problem with importing models is that the animations dont come with them, whe you put them back in game. The only fail safe way to edit models while keeping the animations intact is through .mdl editing. You are limited sometimes while .mdl editing but as timeprogresses, new things are learned in the process, like animations transfers.

There are plenty of tutorials on .mdl editing, but it does not always require a modeling program to accomplish.
