Ok. I don't really expect anyone to respond. I am making a group of 4 campaigns and 1 bonus campaign to follow up on them (afterwards.. possibly a 6th campaign.) Features
And now for the story line... The story is set in a non-warcraft world (though we'll still have the human, orc, undead, and night elf armies.) "Centuries ago, the world faced a terrible war, that nearly brought life as we know it to an end. The races of the old world united to beat back the foul hordes of people called simply Bogey Men. Their leader, their savior.. was a twisted young man, who had been bestowed with demonic powers, known to his followers as the God of End-Times. To the rest of humanity.. he was known as the Black Beast... After a long bloody war, the Black Beast was imprisoned by the High Council of the Magi, doomed to remain in a slumber and struggle with haunting dreams that only he and the Magi would be able to describe... Months became years, years became decades, and decades grew into centuries. The Black Beast had become a long forgotten piece of history. Nothing but a ghost story, that parents told their children to scare them into bed time... However, one wizard, was all too fascinated in hunting down ghost stories... Now the prison has been opened, and the inruders slain... but only a confused young man is awakened, to look upon the bright morning sky and admire the singing of the birds.." Just an intro kinda sorta. Yes, the old amnesia story is a bit cliche. The story will be about the vagabond Nikolai, searching for a way to unlock his dormant memories, amongst the turmoil of ralleying Bogey hordes, a growing undead army, and the danger of a beast within. I am not the world's greatest map maker or model maker. I've already made pretty much all the models, "organized" the data for the new races, and have gotten started on the first scenario. With college and other "artistic projects," this has become quite a task to juggle by myself. If anyone wants to help lend a hand or help develop these campaigns in ANY way possible, then by all means give me a ring. Any help would be appreciated: skinners, mappers, cinematics, triggers, or even story collaborators. Help is greatly needed, though I won't pitch a fit if I end up doing this alone. :D |

It's a great change to see someone designing a campaign who has actually MADE some of the work. Sounds very ambitious, but you seem professional-minded (Which raises the chance of this going somewhere, in my opinion :P). I'd love to see some progress reports or just screenshots whenever you are able, Nick. 8)) |

Well just to show everyone a quick glance at what I'm working on, here's a screen shot of some lizard skins. I've updated them a bit since this screenshot. (sorry if the pic doesn't show up at first.. I always exceed my bandwith. Should show up sooner or later) ![]() |

And here's a quick shot of Black Beast and the 4 heroes for the Bogey Man race: The Slayer, The Fanatic, The Concubine, and The Posessed. Just some reskinning, but Beast actually required some model editing ://// ![]() |
