What does the bold text down at the bottom mean?

What does it mean when you look to the bottom of the forums and see

User's browsing this forum:... and then some names are bold? Is it for mods and admins? So that we know when not to spam?

Yes, that's basically what it means. Some admins view it privately though. ;)

so when the moderaters are browsing forums where they are not moderaters, will their names still be bold?

Moderators and bold, and some admins are italic (but not Directors). Thats at all times.

BTW, why would you want to view the forums privately?

To avoid annoying users pming you constantly.
