Don't know if this is in the right spot, but, when i attach a shield model to a unit, it's facing inward... I can post a screen shot when i figure out how, but think of the shield as being held backwards by the unit. Now i have it attached to his left hand, even though the shield would probably look correctly in the right hand. Unfortunately, his attack animations are for his right hand, so i absoulutely MUST keep the sheild on the left. Anyway to invert the model, either by triggers, MDL editing, or attachment point editing (in the MDL). Speak slowly and with small words too, for i am really just recently learning how to mess with MDL's. |

I am not sure but if your shield is not in good angle in the hand of the model unit is very simple. You must juste cahnge the angle of your shield in 3DS Max and export it. If you will like know how creat ayyach point. Creat (In 3DS Max) a small cube -you put it to the positon of the attach you will like creat- and you name it Ref +++ *** and you edit this object you modified it mesh to attach points. +++=Hand,Over,Chest, Head ***=Head,Left,Right Exp: Over Head |

Well, i don't have a modelling program (i'm working on it though), was hoping there was a way to invert it through triggers or editing the MDL. But once i get a moddelling program, its easy to invert a model, or create an attachment point? |

Hey i need to bump this, cuz i posted it kind of late at night, i know one of you guys knows how to do this, i searched the site, and someone was talking about a method that probably could do it, but it involved pivot points and stuff about attachments. Can anyone help me with this? |
