Portrait I did

Here's the portrait I spoke of in Jacinthe galery. :P

I didnt ink it and the result is far better than I expected.
I'm planning on coloring her but I will wait for some tutorial first:)
Tho you can try it if you want, just post the pic here and keep my sig on it:gsmile:

I may remake the eye, there's something with em, umm.

Anyway, just tell me how much I suck, jk:gsmile:

Nice inking, Dark! But I agree, her face is quite a bit too wide (and therefore her head, too, to some extent). Try moving the chin up just a little bit, and bringing in the sides of the face a good amount, so that her temples are fairly close to the outsides of her eyes.

Her neck might be a little long if you do that, but if you cut and paste the head and move it down a little you won't have to redraw anything. =)

hmm... i actually kinda like it. it looks very clean with a very unique style... i dont think it is supposed to be a realistic poertait... its very stylized i dont know how to say it very well though....

god i just started rambling like buttboy...

Update ,all done in photoshop:P

-Resized the face, eyes and lips
-Moved/recentered some part
-Added ears(First time I actualy draw ears on a portrait:), might need some fix I suppose)

So what should I change now?

I was thinking about coloring her more monocromatic(sp?), how about it?


EDIT: Which side of her hair is better? Right side give a more realistic feeling(which is kinda what I want). I will try to copy/paste the right side and make it fit on the left. Or should I let the hair as it is right now?

I couldn't see much more error so I started the coloring process. I didn't do the shadow and lightning yet but I think this already beat my previous finished coloring.


I must say that I really like the monochromatic effect.

All you can do with 4 color... :P

i think she would look better if her hair colour was darker :D

Most of the coloring is done now :P I will do some fix and add some detail later. Any special detail that I should add?
