Guest | I can learn, but I can't find a tutorial directed at true newbs on this site. I can use the editor that comes with the game, but to do some of the cooler stuff, you have to be able to do the things that I see talked about in all the tutorials on this site. Things like, extracting this and extracted that, and moving these files, and MPQ viewers ... AAAHHH ... I have NO idea what any of these things are. Please, tell me there's a beginners guide somewhere! |

The *.mpq files are files with other files within. They look much like a *.zip file. Then, ig you want to change some stuff on the game you gotta extract the file from the mpq and then put it back. The program to extract/add files to mpq is WINMPQ, designed by shadowflare, wich you can find on de dl section of this site. |

Guest | Ok wait a second. Is it possible to put in midi files instead of mp3 files into a map? That would greatly help me out if someone could tell me. Then my map would be unstopable. For all those you decide not to tell me,please visit this site. http://www.carrothead.com |

I'd like to know if it's possible to use MIDIs also. Or at least a program that converts MIDIs to MP3. I have a MIDI and I cannot find an MP3 of it anywhere. I looked on webpages and searched on KaZaA so I have to somehow use a MIDI or I'll have to use a different song :/ |

I think there are MIDI to WAV converters. Try download.com or something. |
