Map size, how to reduce?

My problem is that I made a map, Forsaken City of Voidrum. The map features 2 races, Orlinar and Niandris, both as complete as any standard race such as NE or UD. For that to work the best way possible, I uploaded hundreds of icons, a loading screen for each race, a soundtrack and a few speech sounds, score screen race icons, skins and models. The problem is that after all this the map got to the size of 4.5mb. With that size, I couldnt upload it at infoceptor, mail it to people or transfer it to any place other than my HD. Is there a way to compactate it, reduce imported file size (i've done that with the sounds already) or in some other way make it smaller?

There isn't much you can do except use less imported stuff...

Ya the big filesize comes from you using alot of imported stuff to reduce the size just delete some of the custom icons you dont really need and see if some have simillar icons in the editor already.

Or you could add them into the War3.mpq and make your map smaller but errr nevermind that would cause more problems.

Try BlackDick's heavy locker? Do a quick forum search, it's around here somewhere.

I'd recommend ditching the music. Mp3s eat up just too much space, and add little. Sound effects are also bloat-tastic, but they DO add a lot -- if possible, perhaps back down the quality a bit?
