OK for a while now i've made skins using Paint and i'm frequently unhappy with them so i think its time for me to upgrade. However a lot of graphics programs i am simply unable to afford and my situation will remain as such until i finish University due to my increasingly legendary student debt. Does anyone know of any free downloads that could help me or affordable packages? (less than £50 UK) |

instead of Photoshop or Paintshop Pro, use The Gimp for Windows; it is free, and you'll be able to make everything skinning needs with. Go there : http://www.gimp.org/~tml/gimp/win32/ For modelling, use GMax : it is a kind of lightened version of 3DStudio Max, made by Discreet too. It is free. A MDX import/export plugin for GMax is currently in developement.
