when you mean "matrix" style fighting do you mean slow fighting ? With a trigger you can make a unit play it's attack animation 25% of its normal speed or less and make it do damage through triggers

Just slow the animation speed down and stuff

Also its called Bullet Time Fighting not Matrix Fighting....

Actually, it's called 'Pointy Seal of Unlimited Freshness Fighting, Mark II'.

Don't animation speeds change with movement/attack speeds as well? Wouldn't casting a slow spell that decreases movement and att speed to 25% reduce the speed of animations in the same way as using triggers (well, you still need triggers to cast the slow, but anyway :) )? Or maybe just use a negative endurance aura?

Edit: oh, right, there is a minimum speed to which unit's can be slowed down, but i guess that can be changed as well?
