How about doing it via trigger?

Like Unit[triggering unit] (item) at position (hand) or so

use special effects triggers to attach the model of that object to his hand.

step by step:

1.place the unit you want holding sumthing
2.go to the trigger editor and start new trigger
3.set event as map installation.
4.set action as special effect-attach special effect to unit
5.set the unit and item to what you wish and type left hand or right hand in space where it says overhead (just change the words)

if you want to make it look like the pesant with gold or lumber (with it over his shoulder), you'll have to add a few model edits.

You can also edit the sphere abillity from the bloodmage to a different art and the target points to hand left/right.

That's ALWAYS the problem with stickies. Nobody EVER bothers to read them.
Doomfire, this question has been answered in the "LOOK BEFORE YOU POST" SLK Faq already. For heaven's sake, open your eyes in the future.
