Modifying a buildings height above ground?

Okay, I changed a building to have a movement height, and minimum movement height of like -50, when I place it in the editor it looks fine, but when I upgrade to it in a map the height is back to normal. Is there something I am missing to make it work in game, or when you upgrade a building does the buildings movement height not even take effect?

Are you really sure that you made the base building upgrade to this one. First try to give a Worker the ability to build the building with the elevation, and then see if that works, if not then there is a problem, but just try it,.

Yes I am sure it is the right building it upgrades to, it has a unique model. If anyone has had success in placing a building slightly below ground please let me know how. Even when a worker builds this building it is above ground.

Things in the editor often turns up differently ingame, this being one such situation. If it's possible to place a building below ground, at least I don't know how.

Its possible, but I do not know how ethier, I'm running into the same problems as you are. I know people here know how to do it, (seen some of the map's they've made) but I guess none of them want to us noobs :(

U can make buildings fly by setting the movement type to air, then set movement speed to 0 and set your flying height.

PS. ALSO you must set the building to a unit. (dont worry it will still be a building but only in the units category)
