Hi all, that's pretty urgent for my current project: I need walkable piers. But I don't want to place lots of those invisible platforms to make them walkable. That's hard work! My pier is between a big canyon (of course I scaled the pier). The canyon is created by making 90°-terrain. It would be hard work to place hundreds of those small invisible platforms. So I asked the guys in the forum where I usually am (a german site). They said I only have to set "walkable" to true (Doodad Editor) and place pathing blockers around the pier. But this doesn't work. My units just walk on the terrain and not on the pier. I also saw somebody who created a brigde (also pier model) which is walkable. He said the same things like the others. Pretty strange... PLZ help CU RESPAWN Sorry guys! Problem fixed! Although thanks! |

u would use a wharf, not a pier...the pier looks almost exactly like the wharf though, but the wharf is a bridge/ramp however, there is always a problem... the units nearby just attack it when u order them to move on it... edit: oh u fixed it...can u walk on it now? |

yeah! I just scaled the platforms so you don't have to place that many. But you always must turn on the path view to see walkable/ not walkable areas. However, thank you for your post! |
