I'm trying to raze the movement height for a building, but whenever I test the map, or play it the height goes back to zero. Am I razing the building height wrong? Is there something else I need to do? |

First off, it's "raise" not raze, learn to spell. And second, set the movement type to flying, then set flying height, that should work. |

Thank you grammar Ninja! The world is a better place now that you've corrected someone's spelling error. Now lets look at everything you just did grammatically wrong! And; and is not how to begin a new sentence, its normally used to connect two sentences together or to finish a list. Although it can be used for the first word of a new sentence, this is frowned upon and you did it wrong anyway. In the listed format you used, each number of the bullet would be a new paragraph. For example: First<paragraph here> Second<paragraph here> A colon should be used after each numbered point. For example First: <your point> Second: <your point> ---- Now that we can ignore each other's errors, because its obvious we both make them, perhaps we can actually fix my problem. I tried your idea of making the building's movement type to flying, and then changing the movement height to 100; (the number I was trying to change it to originally) but alas it did nothing to the building's appearance in game. For future reference, make sure you're perfect before you correct someone else's flaws, otherwise you just look like an ass. |

In case you didn't read, I tried that, and it made no visable difference in game. |

Elfdude...Doc did not correct grammar. He corrected spelling. While it might not seem like it at first, there is a rather large difference between grammar and spelling. Also, the difference between his correction, and yours, is that his actually made your post more understandable. Your corrections of his post did nothing to enhance the readability of it. While we're not writing for a publication of any sort here, there is a "bottom line" of acceptibility when dealing with grammar/spelling errors. And besides, it's not like it would have taken you more than a half-second of thought to catch the errors you made. However, to answer your question: You can't. Uncheck the "is a building" flag if you want to make a building float. Or you can edit the model. |

Raze is correctly spelled just incorrectly used. It's a grammar mistake. Thanks! |

Raise is not correctly spelled, he did not correct you by saying you should use raze in a different context, he said that you spelled raise incorrectly. Which you did. (yes, I know raze is a word...if he said something along the lines of: "Raze is incorrectly used in your sentence..." then he would have been correcting your grammar.) For example, if you write: "I'm going too the store" is that a grammar mistake or a spelling mistake? I would say that it's both...I could correct it by saying that 'to' is spelled incorrectly in the sentence, or I could say that 'too' doesn't make sense in that context... |

OFF TOPIC. Spelling guys? Really? OMFG. Will you people just give it a rest? If you want to get buildings to fly, use a flying unit and change its model and its movement speed to 0. Elf, get hold of your conscious mind buddy, someday it will get you killed by some psycho who doesn't enjoy dealing with the obstacles your presence brings into a conversation :) |

It's already been answered, but I'll echo that. Set move to flying, set your move height, and turn off 'is a building' (well, set to false). And it will float. |

Well, a few of you have gotten off subject (not all, but a few) and ya, setting it to Flying movement type should work, also I believe that you can use Hover incase you dont wan't the unit to actually be a flying unit, and if you arent seeing any visible difference, it may just be that you aren't setting it high enough. So, whats the Movement Hight on this unit? |

100 Beleave me I'm seeing a diff in the editor but not in game, unless I set it to a unit. Thanks guys |

As previously stated, it must not be a building. Set 'is a building' to false. |
