IC: Undead Hero Pack > Ushabti WIP

Ok, I'm skinning the Tauren Chieftain for the Undead Hero pack, and am aiming to make him look like an Egyptian Ushabti, or Anubite you will (a supernatural, undead demi-god guardian).

Anyway, here's a 20 minute layout, and comments welcome before I get to detailing it.

make it more undead; tint parts greenish and brownish, add some basic dirt, blood, and cracks in the bone. Add a tad bit of gore, and use the sponge tool on dessaturate over most of it for a faded UD look. Running the Sandstone filter (in texturizer) would make the skull look more realistic too. The braicers need to match color and shade-wise. A good skin nontheless, just it looks like it could use another 20 mins of work :gsmile:

Maybe you shouldn't be calling people "whitey," but I agree. I'm not feeling it for some reason, maybe it's because most of it is still b&w.

im liken it but try 2 work the undead color scheme in there a little. We ant people 2 be able 2 make campaigns and crap wit all the skins.
Lookin good 4 a basic layout tho. I always thought hed be a good egyptian. I actually waould like 2 get a model edit of him with a more hound like head and super long pointy ears so i can make anubis. The force of nature makes a great ra i started but didnt fin it. We need 2 make an egyptiian undead pack 1 day.

Very original skin, I really like the skull face. I think the skin tone can be varied, it seems reather solid right now.

And Mordrag, I don't understand why you think calling someone a jew is an insult. I'm pretty sure that they own most of the world's money and when your ass gets arrested, it'll most likely be a jew saves your ass in court. Not only that, but learn how to spell

Anyways, back on topic, Even though the skin is really good, it doesnt seem very egyptian, and the last thing i would think of it being is an anubite.

Wierd, when i read that you called him whitey i imediatelly thought of underwear for some reason. Dont ask me why. Ok that was kinda off topic.

Anyway, whitehorn even though this isnt your best work. I like it alot. It just seems to fit together. Er... Im not feeling the bandages on the chin though. Also make the head alittle more skull like. I mean like a little dirty and kinda crusty.

did egg skin some of it (didn't read whole post)
it looks more warbandish. as i thought our undead styles do not blend. Closest ones are eggs n sansuis but san isnt even in the group. Egg's is somewhat similar to mine. Does our team work on their own indivual skins or do we all work on skins together? We need to see what final skins then we could do something.

We should just start over and do egypt as the theme. I like the egypt idea i wanna change up a lil. You guys ok with it?

Compare the Lich to the Dreadlord. Do they look similar? No. You seriously want 25 different hero models that look all the same? I can drop the gold and bright blue, but I'm not gonna be very inspired to help do 25 heroes that all have the same dull colours.

I'm not talking about the colors I'm talking about the actual style of the skin. Egg's skin is very dark and realistic looking while mine are brighter and cartoonier. I mean it doesnt matter I actually like the theme you have right here alot.
