I'm making an RPG... so I need some ideas for heroes... I have a Bloodseeker (spellcaster) and a Demoncaller (Melee Hero):D |

Um, at the risk of sounding like I'm flaming you, why do you think anybody else would have a clue what kinds of heroes you're looking for? What is the setting for this story? Middle ages? Some magical alternate reality? Tied to the warcraft plotline? Outer space, where nobody has ever heard of humans? Really, you shouldn't even need to ask this question. If you can't come up with the heroes for your epic, what makes you think you can create the epic for those heroes? Spend some time deciding what you want to make, instead of fishing for ideas of what units you should create. |

I'm only good at making overpowred heros, but what the heck, eh? Somebody has to go first! I never was godo at making heors... oh well; Here goes. The Battle Mage: Primary Attribute: Strenght Really develops like a Paladin, but your welcome to change it as you wish. I made this guy for a Open RPG with max hero level 21, and built him so that he could handle most situations on his own. H is probably overpowered by your standards, so tune him down. x2 y1 Ability - --- Innate Ability --- Block: The Battle Mage is a skilled fighter and has a <really 20%, but that's prolly overpowered> to block incoming attacks with his shield. x1 y1 Ability - Dimension Door: Works just like BLink, just it has a 1 second casting delay, and it can teleport anywhere on the map. Mess around with the effects so that they resemble the ones that come with Mass Teleport, and increase the Mana cost to 50 and the cooldown to 20 seconds. Level 1: Mana Cost: 50, Cooldown: 20 seconds. x0 y2 Ability - Lightning Zap: Basically just forked Lightning, with a different name. I like lightning-based spells. Level 1: 100 Damage, 3 targets Level 2: 200 Damage, 3 targets Level 3: 300 Damage, 3 targets Level 4: 350 Damage, 5 targets x1 y2 Ability - Crushing Blow: Works just lik the Critical Hit ability. He needs to be able to hol his own in a non-magic battle as well. Gives a % to deal a wast 8 times normal damage on an attack. Level 1: 4% Level 2: 8% Level 3: 12% Level 4: 16% x2 y2 Ability - Mana Shield: Works just like your every day mana Shield. The type hes erally using goes all the way up to level 10 ('cuz of lack of imagenation, and lazynes), but you do as you wish, eh? Levels--- (Check out the original) x3 y2 Ability - Finger of Death: Let's just be original. The level requirement is level 10, but you can do as you wish. This hero was really for a Open RPG Map, with max hero level 21, so It's probably overpowered. --- Hero Level Requirement: 10 --- Level 1: 1200 damage, 10 second cooldown, 245 mana cost. |

I might use him... but if I use him then I'll rebalance him and delete some of the spells (he only needs 4 spells, 25 levels of each) :D Thx a lot :foot: |

i like to think of units and heroes the elemental mages: Mages with the incredible power to use a single element to their will mages that seek destruction often shoose fire-or-earth wile people who search for help and healing 'n stuff water -or- air Earth-mages: Mages that seek mostly destruction and protection from earth shoose to become an earth mage.cause they need no muck of mana but asks great skills of battle to use devastating blows-earth attcks Primary attribute:Strength Skill's: -sumon earth elemental,each mage can sumon an elemental to do their biddings,the mage of earth summons the strongest melee elemental of earth. each lvl increases total stats -earth mash:the mage strikes with such force the unit get's knocked back and hit's units behind the foe each level increases dmg done to unit's and unit's that hit behind increases. more will be released cause i need to go. |
