Yes, I'm back. I never said I was gone forever. I just needed time to cool off so I didn't do something stupid to get banned. Sorry for dragging you guys into it.
Anyway, the Star Wars designs have always intrigued me. The overly-detailed, semi-old fashioned look is very appealing for some reason. Here are some character concepts I did a few days ago.
I'm pretty proud of this one. I went over it in pen and may color it first. I know the hand is messed up. The saber will be two-sided, like Darth Maul's.
I like how this one turned out too, although it's still in pencil. I sure suck at hands though. :-P
This one's still rather rough. The Rodian in the middle is too light and there are other things I'm not proud of in this one. The Twi'lek girl has a saber staff, the dude is duel-wielding sabers, and the Rodian has a normal saber.
The reason I didn't draw the sabers is because it would be easier to draw them in with photoshop when and if I color these.
