I've done this before, but I can't remember how i did it. How do you get units to have an inventory. I've tried Pack Horse, the Unit Inventory(human, orc, etc), also Inventory(hero) but i can't get them to have an inventory. Just so you know, i'm trying to make the Pack Mule have the inventory. What am i doing wrong? Thanks. |

Create a new inventory ability based on one of the Inventory (Race) abilities. Change the techtree requirements field to nothing. Then give the unit this ability. |

You are right. Man, I had that... but all along I had a unit called a Pack Horse in game while i was playing with the abilities of my custom unit called a Pack Mule. After you told me that and I knew i was doing it right, I thought maybe my units were messed up and re added them when I noticed that. Thanks. |

You can also add the hero inventory ability. The difference between the two is the unit inventory cant use items, while the hero can. Also units with hero inventory can pick up items like tomes, this may cause problems. |

i think they fixed the unit toming. in blizz td it says 'this unit cant use powerups'. that may be trigger driven, but ive seen it in other maps too with the newer patches. |
